I went to the ER earlier today because I had dark red blood (I should be 6 weeks 1 day) and they did a transvaginal ultrasound.. doctor told me they saw nothing but they did blood work and it showed I was pregnant but I had low HCG levels so they want me to come back two days later to check if my HCG level rises.

My question is, if they did transvaginal ultrasound did they also detect for any sign of an ectopic pregnancy? They did not mention it but I’m still a little worried since they saw nothing and I’m having sharp pain on my lower left side of my abdominal..
