So my husband and I found out a few weeks ago that we are expecting a baby girl. Have decided on a name and everything- however we are not planning on announcing to family at all.

My mother in law becomes quite overbearing, and negative. With my son she tried to overload us with clothes and I declined because I had already prepared for him and did not want to give her the entitle her to come through and take things out of my house to sell in the flea market.

She has brought up the gender several times, asked about a name, made suggestions and then gets an attitude when we tell her that we are not finding out until the baby is born. I have even made a small registry and kept it neutral and she got an attitude about that. I feel like she’s trying to force us into telling her, however she does not know that we know.
