Anyone take maca for ttc ?

Anyone familiar with maca? I started taking it because we are TTC #2 but I should have ovulated by now (opk pattern from last few months ) and nothing yet...day 12 (my cycles got short after Goin off birth control the second time made my cycles short 23-25 days.

I've been taking it and it regulated my cycle. I went from having one every 1-3 months to having one every 28-32 days. I highly recommend it.

These are what mine look like. I just got on eBay and searches "maca root supplements" and a bunch of vitamin shop postings came up. I think these were like $5 and they got here in like 2-3 days

When I take it my cycles are almost always 28 days. The problem is that I cannot stand the taste! I have tried it in hot water and taken like a shot, covered up with fruit or peanut butter in smoothies/shakes and still can't tolerate it. 
I swear it makes DP want to BD way more often, so much that it isn't always a good thing.
