I'm due with my second on April 1st 2018 and was talking to my friend about having a baby shower and she mentioned that it's "Against the rules" (or whatever you want to call it) to have a baby shower after your first child. I looked it up and it said it's become more acceptable in the past few years, but that you shouldn't be the one to plan your own baby shower. (me and my mother were going to plan it together). But I feel like every child should be celebrated, would it be okay to help plan a baby shower with my mother for baby number 2?
