So I found out I am pregnant about a week ago. I am at about 4weeks today. I am 26years old. A little backstory: Me and my partner of 9 years live apart for the past 2 years. in different countries. we see each other about once a month and it is always difficult.y parents live also at the same country as my BF. I moved abroad about 2 years ago for my master studies and to work. Recently me and my BF decided that we had enough and that I would move back. My parents are however totally against my decision because they fear that I won't find the same good job circumstances in my country and that I won't be as successful. They are generally very pro career and studies than family because they think that I am still too young. I am very pleased with my job here and I make good money but I still feel like a little girl sometimes when it comes to my parents. Now that I am pregnant there is no question to me that this is the best thing that could have happened to me and my BF because it is one more reason for us to be together again and start a family. But I am so scared of telling my parents because I can almost already hear them telling me how irresponsible I am and how bad I am gonna mess my future with my choises. Me and BF are SOOOOO freaking happy about the pregnancy and this thing is spoiling our happiness. How would you recommend that I tell them so that they take it calmly? I should also mention that me and my mom have very little age difference because she had me young and she always tells me as a joke "don't you dare make me a grandma cause I am still so young" Anyways sorry for the long post but I would appreciate some thoughts!!
