I am due to leave the hospital soon but my son has to stay. He was born at 36+6 weeks pregnant. I had severe preeclampsia and was induced. He has trouble with his sugar, temperature and jaundice. Right now his sugar is so low they have an IV in his umbilical cord to give him sugar water. He is exclusively on sugar water tonight because his sugars hit so low. I am dreading having to leave him. I am doing my best right now not to bust out crying when I see him.
