Would I add spotting into my period chart?

Spoting does not count as cd1. When you feel like you should wear a pad or tampon - that is CD1. At least as far as Glow is concerned.

Taking your BBT helps so much to clear up when Day 1 is. I usually have spotting in the days leading up to my period, so after charting, I knew to look for a drop in temp to indicate when my period started. Good luck!
