What is this on my nose???

Question

So I've had this black thing on my nose for about 5 days. It's not a pimple bc I can't pop it and I can't touch it without jerking back in pain. Really red around my nose. Anyone have any ideas on what it is?

That is either infected, or the start of something. Generally cancer is painless, and the redness surrounding it leads me to believe it is most likely an infected pore. Get it checked out.

It looks like a mole, and if it grew that quickly into that shape (not symmetrical), I would go to a dermatologist and ask about skin cancer. They'd probably remove it (1 stitch) and have it biopsied. Obviously nothing to worry about if it goes away, but it doesn't look like any pimple or blackhead I've ever seen

Since you are so fare skinned and have freckles I’d suggest going to see a dermatologist, I’ve worked in the medical field for many years it’s best to get a professional opinion better safe than sorry.

Did it start off small and get bigger or did it just appear overnight like that out of no where? I’d say if it gets any bigger go to the dr. Honestly I’d get it checked either way especially if you said it’s sore and hurts! Good luck.

Had a friend who had something similar happen to him. He used to joke about it because he never really had acne. it started off pretty "normal" looking as far as acne goes. He would mess with it and I remember it getting as bad as yours if not worse. He ended up calling off work for a bit. The skin was a bad infection that was making a hole  (eating through) his skin. It was bad. Don't quite remember the specifics, but if you feel it's abnormal or it's gotten worse quickly go to the doctors.

I get these from time to time. It’s a black head that’s gotten irritated. Give it sometime and try not to touch or pick at it. It’ll go away in its own
