Finally got a BFP after YEARS of trying!!!

So, I am 33 and recently going through a divorce from a 7.5 yr marriage, although, we have kinda been separated for about a year and have not even done so much as kiss in about 2 years. Earlier this year, I became friends with the guy who would end up becoming my best friend... and now, is my boyfriend.

My husband and I tried for at least 3 years to get pregnant. I bought opk strips in bulk, an expensive fertility monitor, tried temping, supplements, clomid, etc. I have PCOS, uterine fibroids, rheumatoid arthritis, and the year before last they found pre-cancer cells in my uterus that we treated with progesterone. We never even really had a day that anything we used indicated I even had a peak in my fertile days.

My bf and I have actually only been a couple for about a month now, but we were kind of friends with benefits for the past few months (exclusively). He and I were both convinced that we couldn’t conceive. He was told when he was younger that his chances were slim... and well, I didn’t seem to ovulate. Lo and behold the past couple weeks I’d been feeling funny... had a couple episodes of random nausea, some cramping that made me feel like period was near but it never showed up, and sensitive nips (which I’ve never experience during AF... ever). I went and bought a couple HPTs a month ago and took the first one, negative. About 2 weeks later took another, it was a dud... no control line, nothing at all. last week I went to buy another one and he told me it was a waste of money, because there was no chance... and lo and behold, it was positive that morning when I woke up and took it.

I told him, and he was happy, in disbelief, and thought I was playing a really cruel joke on him or that it was a false positive. I went to work and came home later that afternoon and he still was in disbelief and so I grabbed the other test I bought and I told him “now, this one won’t be with first morning urine... so there’s a chance the result might not be as clear..” and he insisted on putting the droplets of urine into the sample window himself. Within 10 seconds, clear as day, BAM, another BFP.
