Having trouble with feedings

So my 10 wk old recently started latching onto me about 3 weeks ago without the help of a nipple shield (yay 🙌🏼) Everything had been going great until the last week. He will latch on and drink just fine but after 5-10 min he pops off and is just inconsolable. Once he’s calmed down (takes 10–15min) he’s still hungry and we go through the whole thing over again about 4 times until he’s finally full. It takes over an hour to feed him because of this and he just is over tired and unhappy at the end of it. (And I’m frustrated too 😩)

I’ve been pumping for the last two days and it’s been so much quicker for feedings and he is a happy full baby in about 20-30 min now (pace fed)

I’d really like to continue nursing though, any tips or advice? Is this a phase?! Thank you!
