35 weeks and frustrated... venting

So I’m going to vent to you lovely people lol. I’m pregnant with my first and I am 35 weeks today. I’ve had a pretty easy going pregnancy this far but the thing is, I’m in Germany. My husband is in the military and we are stationed here. Naturally the post we are in doesn’t have its own hospital so we have to go to the German hospital that is 30 min away. My obgyn has been brilliant here, he speaks amazing English and makes me feel super comfortable and has always answered any questions. My frustration lies with the hospital. Here in Germany the Ob you have the entire pregnancy doesn’t deliver the baby, midwives or another OB at the hospital does. You have to preregister at the hospital for birth and every time I’ve called they either don’t understand me and if they do they transfer me and the first time I got a lady who said “I’m to busy call back” then there were two German holidays so I couldn’t get ahold of anyone and today I called got someone right away who “couldn’t transfer” me but gave me the number. This number just keeps ringing and ringing and I’m just so freaking frustrated. Maybe it’s just hormones lol. I’m just so worried about this language barrier during delivery 😫
