epidural fail 3 times. it is not fail proof new mommas

how many people had their epidural completely fail? mine was re done 3 times and I still felt almost everything. i just want new mommas to know its not always a guarentee the pain will be gone so please dont expect to have a pain free labor. i feel bad when people tell the new mommas they wont feel anything. i was tramatized from my experience of over 30 hours of intense labor and no relief.
