My husband says I don’t respect him and that hurts him and makes him mad.

I’ve tried to talk and ask what he wants me to do and say to make him feel more respected but I get nothing back.

He goes off saying he deserves more than what I give him. But then again he’s not a very humble person in my perspective and I am so I very rarely say or do anything because I “deserve” it! But anyways can anyone help me!?? I need to understand his perspective and need some ideas of what to do to “respect him more”.
