**update #2**

Got my results back today and everything was negative! So relieved and happy 🎉🤗❤️ we are planning to have the sex be a surprise so didn't get that information.

For any that are curious, this was my timeline for turnaround:

-Blood drawn 11/7 (Tuesday am)

-Sample processing started 11/10 (Friday)

-Sample processing completed, lab review completed, in clinical review 11/14 (Tuesday pm)

-Called doctor today 11/16 (Thursday) and got results

Anyone get the Counsyl test (Prelude)? How long did it take for you to get your results back? Just had blood drawn for it today so of course I'm already itching to get the results 🙄

**update** so I hadn't received any confirmation information after getting my blood drawn on Thursday 11/2 and reached out to Counsyl today (11/6) for any information. They said they received my sample on 11/4 and were in the process of confirming the order with my doctor. HOWEVER they also mentioned that it was the Foresight Carrier test. I corrected them and said it should be for the Prelude Prenatal test. Well, turns out my clinic had messed up and ordered the wrong test. And they need a different tube to do the Prelude test so I have to go back into my clinic tomorrow and get blood drawn again - basically, starting the process over from square one. Super annoyed and frustrated because I was hoping to have results by this weekend as it's my brother's wedding and I'll be seeing a lot of family and was looking forward to being able to tell more family about my pregnancy with the reassurance of good Counsyl results. Ugh 😑 just needed to vent
