i've never had a job i'm a senior and graduating this year. i need a job, can you guys let me know how it is to work there and how much theyre paying this year? (2017) i heard minimum wage is gonna go up for fast food but idk. and how is the interview process?

Fast food will teach you way better customer service skills than somewhere finer.
Though, we don't tip here in NZ so everyone is paid a proper wage by their employers...

we really cant let you know how it is to work there considering we live where you live or have worked there. every job location is gonna have a different atmosphere. for that info i would ask the people that work there. here's a tip though... in the application where it asks how much you want to be paid, leave it blank... its better to ask whoever interviews you, how much are you willing to pay? dont stress so much about it... a job is a job and as long as there is nothing shady going on, take the job until something better comes along. make the best out of it.

How much they pay completely depends on where you live, whatever minimum wage is. I worked at McDonald's in high school and I can tell you the job is easy (fast at times and obviously not glamorous), but it was a great first job. The best part is you'll get to work with other kids your age and make really great friends. I had so much fun working there.

Probably to start and get some experience that would do...but tbh working in a fast food restaurant it’s the worst. Managers are abusive. Customer make your best day a shitty day. Not enough hours and worst schedules.

My husband worked there for 3 years , they can pay as low as 7.50 , the interview process is just you coming in and then they ask you questions and thats that. You either get it or you dont. Theres nothing special about it but theres nothing terrible either.

I hate working fast food. But, my brother (24) LOVES his job at Taco Bell. He's planning to work up into management. He's been there 2 years. Sometimes it's a good fit, sometimes it's hell it just depends on the person and the team you have to work with. At least it pays!
