Sub chorionic bleed...UPDATE

Tuesday I get home from doing grocery shopping and a gush of blood. Filled a pad in 15 minutes. Of course im panicked because I’m almost to my second trimester and thought I was in the clear. Us the week before showed a wild baby. Call my ob of course she is at the hospital and not the clinic. So I head to the ER. Normally I wouldn’t because I work in the ER and think it’s a ridiculous reason to go. But the bleeding wasn’t stopping and I thought I was hemorrhaging. Naturally I know the ER doc and so embarrassed he was looking at my punani. But then I hear him say i need 4x4s I can’t get the bleeding to stop. I had told him he was hurting me but he was trying to find the source of the bleeding. God love him but he made an assumption that my water had broke. Didn’t test it nothing. He calls one of the obs and they both decided without doing an u/s that the baby will die. Telling me and my best friend the baby will die I need to go home and deal with it. Keep in mind i had to reiterate that to my husband when he walks in. So thinking this is it, the ER doc finally called my ob and she was questioning everything he was saying. He was just not making sense of his diagnosis. My dr is amazing by the way. Calls me and says I dont believe it go to the office my partner will see u. A professional us was done and turns out the baby is fine and I have a huge sub chorionic hemorrhage. I have never been so happy in my life! I was put on bed rest and have been bleeding since but the dr said it’s not behind the placenta so we just have to wait for it to heal. Talk about the worst experience. Especially from my place of employment.

Update: had my ultrasound today. The baby is good and the sch is .5 cm smaller. The dr kept me on bedrest...because the bleed is over my cervix. I have been so stressed about losing this baby. Dr says she want the bleeding to continue but not too much or too fast because the baby could evacuate with the bleed. Hoping for the best.
