The dentist is telling me to pull a tooth that has nothing wrong with it
I need the very back bottom molar in my mouth pulled. I can't afford a root canal and the tooth at this point just needs to go. It's not causing pain, but if something is not done, it definitely will.
However, my dentist is wanting to pull the one above it too, even though it's fine.
He said that with no tooth under it, that it will "float" and basically fall down, exposing the root. He said that's pretty unpleasant. And that with no tooth under it, its non functional. It will need to be pulled eventually unless I get a fake tooth under it.
I'm not doubting him, but I don't like that I have to pull a tooth that is perfectly fine. 😕
Should I go ahead and have them both pulled? They're just my back molars, the rest of my teeth are fine but ugh
He wants to pull them both in one visit.
