Would it be crazy to get a tattoo of my best friend/boyfriend/first love birthday?

He died a couple months ago and I want to get his birthday on my wrist. I’m in a new relationship so would it be crazy to get it? The guy I am with now was friends with him as well... I need opinions.

It’s s way to remember him and fuck anyone who has a problem with it. If you feel strongly about it, do it. But if you have a desk job wrist tattoos fade quickly from typing a lot on a keyboard

I don't see anything wrong with it. One thing I've never done is disrespected someone who has passed-- story: My husband had a close friend for years, and when we were dating we split for a couple of months. While we were split up, he had sex with her. After we got back together, we still hung around her, although I wasn't too crazy about them being friends.. Anyway, she died a couple months after we got back together, and he grieved, and I was there for him. His friend died for Christ's sake and I would never not be there just because they slept together at one point.. And, if he would have wanted to get a tattoo in rememberance of her, I wouldn't have gotten upset about it. She was a friend of his who died, regardless of whether or not they had sex.
