How long after TTC did you become pregnant?

Comment your stories and what birth control you were on before! I'm hoping to start TTC soon (as soon as the hubby gives the final okay of course) and am wondering what the average is for how long it takes to get pregnant.

I fell pregnant with my 10 year old daughter after 1 cycle, now at 35 it's taken me 16 loooonng months! 😳 my advice just don't stress and let it consume you. Good luck 🤞🏽

I was on bc pills for about 5 years. Went off them. Had one "normal" cycle. Didn't have a break trough bleed at the end of the pack. But one cycle period later I got a period. Got pregnant the next cycle using the not really trying method, but if it happens we will be happy.

I was on birth control pills for 12years. Had horrible time getting off the pill, hormonal imbalances, acne, irregular cycles. Got pregnant after 5 (long!) cycles. Had a missed miscarriage and a d&c; at 10 weeks. On my third cycle after the d&c; I got pregnant again and I’m now 18 weeks. Vitex helped my irregular cycles and I think definitely contributed to helping me get pregnant both times (got pregnant 2nd cycle after starting it and then 1st cycle after restarting it).

I was on birth control pill for 8 years before TTC. It took 4 months to conceive.

We started trying for another baby when our youngest was 3 and I had my iud taken out. It took 5 years to get pregnant again, it was so difficult those first few years. Testing every month just to see a BFN, I cried so much and went through years of heartache. My husband did his best to keep me happy and give me positive vibes, we started to go to the gym and changed our diets. I was doing great, I stopped obsessing about getting pregnant and focused on changing myself. In May I went in for my yearly check up and found out I was pregnant!! I was in complete shock and didn’t believe it until I was sent to get an ultrasound! Currently 31 weeks pregnant and truly blessed and excited to finally have a baby boy after 3 girls.
