Do long distance relationships work for dual military couples?

Me and this guy have been talking for like a month, and he’s in the army and I’m about to enlist in the navy. I leave to bootcamp for 8 weeks and he’s currently on deployment, when he comes back from deployment I’ll already be in bootcamp and when I come out of bootcamp hell be overseas on another deployment. So much time away from each other but we text all the time and we spent the week together everyday last week and I feel we made an amazing connection. So has anyone else gone through this? Is there hope for us?...or no?..
