Twins in my family and his?

My dad is a twin and his twin brother (my uncle) has twin daughters. My husband is also a twin........ I always wanted twins since I was younger. Could I possibly have twins?

Twin don’t run in either of me or the fathers and I’m pregnant with identical twin girls. Although they say identical twins aren’t genetic. But anywho, if I can do it with no family twins I’m sure u can do it with family twins

Well it doesn't matter if twins run in his family.. because it always comes from the mom but I'm not sure. It's a possibility you can have twins.

Identical twins are a genetic anomaly where as fraternal twins have to be present on the mothers side because it is her eggs being released more than one at a time that make this possible. Your partner having twins in his family will have zero impact on likelihood of having twins. Any thing is possible so of course it could happen but it isn't anywhere near a guarantee
