Whe I was younger around 19 I had some precancerous cells and had the leap procedure done and have never had any issues since my aunt had cervical cancer so I was getting paps every 6 months for a couple years but I'm 30 now and have never had a bad pap since and Im 16w pregnant with are first

I luckily got involved with the study for a HPV vaccine, after the birth of my 1st child, almost 10 years ago when HPV was just really becoming a major issue. I tried to get my 2 female bestfriends to also join the study, they did not. Within a year after the study ended, they both contracted HPV. One friend, got the type with genital warts, the other the high risk that can cause cancer and infertility.

Yes I found out October 2012 that I had hpv. Mine was in the form of genital warts. After having them removed my Dr did a pap smear and I had abnormal results. He went in and did a simple biopsy in the office about 2 months later and it concluded that I had precancerous cells.
