So I just had my third miscarriage in a row at 5 weeks, I think. I was a week late and had lots of strong symptoms, and I got a faint positive pregnancy test. The next day I had a stronger line. I went to the loo in the morning and saw I had bright red blood when I wiped. I was in shock as I didn’t have any cramps and was starting to feel more relaxed about this pregnancy. So bled heavy bright blood with 2 huge clots for the next day and a half. Didn’t see the point of going to hospital so early as they wouldn’t be able to tell me anything. All bleeding has stopped after 36 hours. So 2 days after the bleed, I feel pregnant still. I’m just as bloated, tired and spaced out and have almost been sick every day. Didn’t have any hpt left so I thought I’d do an ovulation test on the off chance, as it does pick up HCG too and:

I’m so confused. Either I had a miscarriage that was just short and I still have hcg in my system (that seems to be increasing). I was pregnant with twins and lost one. My body is freaking out due to hormones overboard and is trying to ovulate. Or it was just heavy breakthrough bleeding....hope I’m not just in denial and have lost the plot.

Anyone with a rational mind shed any light?
