Can you have a miscarriage without cramps or pain or bleeding at about 7 weeks?

I've gone for 12 wk scan thinking everything was fine only to be told that the baby had stopped developing weeks before so yes, it is possible and is often called a missed miscarriage.

I found out at 11weeks that I lost our 2nd baby. He stopped growing at 9weeks. My Ob said sometimes your body does not realize you have miscarried and can take a couple weeks to start happening.

Technically you could have a missed miscarriage. Your body goes in thinking you are pregnant but the baby has no heartbeat and has stopped progressing. Generally diagnosed by an ultrasound. Eventually you will start the miscarriage or need a D&C (within a few weeks or it can cause blood clotting issues in you).

I think you would need to bleed at some point if you were having a miscarriage.
