PCOS...popped cyst??

Question

When do you know a cyst has popped?
What are the symptoms to look out for?

I have that too but I don't think a cyst has ever ruptured,  I would think it be painful.

I had a cyst rupture and I was in excruciating pain. I could barely stand up and the pain took my breath away. When I went to the ER, they thought my appendix had ruptured.

I don't have PCOS but I do get ovarian cysts. Anytime one ruptures I cramp and feel nauseous (and sometimes I'll run a low grade fever) then my discharge will change color to yellow or orange for a few hours and will be sticky but not very thick. It's different for everyone but that's just my experience.
