How is leaving going to solve anything? For all you know, worst case scenario, he’s in hospital or lying in a ditch somewhere. Best case he’s caught up planning a surprise and is staying off his phone so he won’t spill the beans. I don’t think that one day of no contact is reason enough for you to leave an eight year relationship.
