Anyone explore TESA?

Question

My husband has azoospermia. The doctors are unsure as to the cause but all lab work points to a blockage or obstruction. Genetically and hormonally the numbers are perfect.
We start IVF/ICSI next month and they will do a TESA. 
Has anyone ever been through this?

My husband also has a blockage, but he is having a surgery to remove it. Then we will try to conceive naturally. We have been ttc 2 years, so I hope this is the solution. They mentioned that we could do the TESE and IVF, but that would be too expensive for us. We have insurance but it does not cover anything for infertility. Good luck!
