My boyfriends "home girl"

Hey loves! So, my friend and i have been friends for 6 years but just recently became Significant others (S/o) 2 months ago.

About a few weeks ago, we had an argument and didn't talk for pretty much the entire week. I go on Snapchat to see he went to "catch up" with an old high school friend he use to talk to. It was a picture of the two of them and the caption read "shoutout to (Jane Doe) she's always been a real one".

When I went on to tell him how it made me feel, he told me "after everything that happened do you really think you have the right to tell me who I can and cannot hangout with?" He then went on to say "I didn't feel appreciated so I went and hung out with someone who would appreciate me and my time".

Now, I understand we've only been together for 2 months, but do you think i had the right to feel some type of way about it?

****Were so good now but a part of me is not okay with him venting to another girl. I'm thinking of it as him "entertaining her".
