what do you think?

My boyfriend and I have been dating now for a year and 11 months and just moved in together four months ago. My dad came out to visit and hung out with my bf one of those days. The other day my dad asked me what my ring size was.... does this sound like he was asking for my bf? I don't want to get my hopes up but why would be ask me that? My mom says that it's obvious why he asked. What do you all think? Am I getting besides myself?
