Scared of another miscarriage?

Hubby and I have been trying for baby number 2 for 8 years now. I got my bfp on Thursday. Yesterday I went to the doctor's to confirmed that I was for sure pregnant woohooo! 2 years ago I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. I'm terrified of it happening again. Anybody else check the toilet paper when they use the restroom? question every cramp or twinge??

my husband and I have been trying for 2 years with a MC after 1 year. I was the same as you, the MC happened at 8 weeks. I'm now 16w 2d with this little sticky bean and I still check every single time I wipe. cramps freak me out but I try to talk myself into them being normal - I mean this little peanut is growing and stretching my uterus! there is bound to be cramping lol we are insisting our families don't start telling everyone with only close family and friends knowing, though I'm trying to not let the fear consume my whole pregnancy and I have started buying some of the big baby essentials but storing them at my mum's. It's going to be a long way until April 18 for me but I'm having faith that this time I will get there. wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months xxx
