Are period-like cramps normal?

I am just under six weeks after a miscarriage at just under seven weeks in June. I am terrified of another miscarriage. I am having lots of cramping, similar to period cramps) and random aches, pains and pulling sensations in my hips, under my ribs and back. I’m afraid this is a bad sign. 😞 Does anyone know if this is normal?

omg im in the same boat as you. i started spotting today and have aches like you..im worried but we have to stay positive :(

Cramping is normal in early pregnancy as long as it's not overly painful and not accompanied with bleeding.  Your uterine wall is thickening, uterus expanding in size and the embryo is further attaching, all causing cramping sensations.  My Chinese medicine practitioner told me it's a good sign :-).
