Did you get your flu shot?

Never had, never will. The efficacy of the shot is terrible (what, is it 50-60% this year) and not worth the risk since it hasn’t been tested on pregnant women. No bashing please, this is my opinion and mine only. You are free to believe and do as you please. I am merely explaining why I don’t get it.

I work at a hospital and still won't get it. They can't give me enough solid evidence that it's safe during pregnancy and effective. Each to there own though. 👶🏼👶🏼

I got my flu shot at 12 weeks, I work in the hospital and didn’t want to wear a mask the entire flu season. But then again, I’ve gotten a flu shot for the last 8 years and never gotten the flu either so 🤷🏽‍♀️

I am a kindergarten teacher, and the flu passes through the school like wildfire! Needless to say I got it just to be on the safe side. Never know what you can catch from the little guys...

This was my first time getting a flu shot since I was a child. I’ve never had the flu. I didn’t get a flu shot with my first pregnancy mostly because I wasn’t pregnant during flu season and I’m afraid of needles. But this time I’m pregnant the entire flu season, I have a four year old on daycare, and my husband works at a hospital so I have a higher chance of something being brought home.

This is my third pregnancy and I’ve gotten the flu shot each time. No side effects, but my immune is pretty good. I’d say it just depends on the person, how your body reacts to it. Everyone is different and reacts different
