Did you have any professional maternity photos taken?

I’m really sad my fiancé and I aren’t going to get to have any maternity photos taken for our first pregnancy. I’m due in 4 weeks and I’m trying not to let it bother me, but I keep seeing everyone else’s beautiful couples photos :( my fiancé also isn’t big on pictures, but its mainly the reason that money is tight and photographers are pricey :/

why don't you find a friend to take some for you? I'm sure if you explained how you want them to your SO they would go along with it. my husband hates pictures but he knew how important maternity pictures were to me

Here's a few of my maternity pics done at 6m(with my son) 8m(in white dress) I'm currently 33w&4d and my sister toke these she's also licensed and I'm absolutely in love with these pics

My mom took some for us at a local park! I was never into having any done but the farther along I’m getting, the more I realize how much I’m going to miss my bump. I’m so glad we took an hour to document this special time. But I DEFINITELY wasn’t going to spend a bunch of $$ for a professional photographer because, you know, babies are expensive & I couldn’t afford that! 😜

Girl, Go to nice spot and and have a friend use the phone camera. Get a photo editing app and BOOM! Maternity photos. Simple and inexpensive. That's what we are doing.

Maybe see there are aspiring photographers / students who would take them at a discounted price?

I'd rather spend the money on my baby or save up or pay off something.  Although paying something off isn't likely since we only have the house, my student loans, and hubbys car.
