Am I being selfish?

Okay, ladies I need an opinion. My husband and I are discussing names, and if it's a boy, I want the name Dominick after my grandfather. My husband is okay with this, and wants the middle name to be Joseph, after his father. The issue is, my father's name was also Joseph, and I do not wish to bring a child into this world with the name the same as his. Clearly, there is an issues there. I told my husband that I was okay with the middle name being Giuseppe, Joseph in Italian. He doesn't hate it, but he doesn't love it. Should I just allow the middle name to be Joseph, even though I don't want any recollection of my father?
