Confused?

Tracy • 20; Married; 1 Daughter; TTC baby #2! :)
I'm suppose to receive AF today been having cramps for about 5 days now just checked my cm and cervix felt high and open with creamy white cm, is this normal around the time of period? I'm not familiar with cm and positions.
