Full Moon or just Crazy!??

Question

Been having contractions every 6 mins for the past 2 hours now. I have a high pain tolerance so if i breathe deeply once or twice ill be fine. But was waiting to see if they were gonna get close or intense. My grandfather said the moon is gonna make me go into labor (old wives tales). I don’t know if I should call L&D; or wait and see if they get closer or intense!?? 37 weeks and 2 days

I had contractions that were 2-3 minutes apart last night but they weren't painful enough to warrant a visit. I've been having irregular painful contractions for 4 days now, on and off like clockwork. My sister went through the same thing with her last pregnancy.

I have heard about the full moon stuff but it was Friday night going into Saturday, not tonight (of course moon is still mostly full since last was last night). But id call the doctor with how regular those contractions are, to be safe.

if you've been having regular close together contractions for over an hour you're suppose to go in most say not until they're 5mins or less apart you should go in better safe than sorry but you could have contractions and not progress and they send you home or you could be progressing, last friday i went in due to contractions that were regular and close together for 2 hours sadly i had horrible nurses they never called my doctor and they had no ckue what they were doing so they just gave me medicine to stop contractions and definitely an old wives tale that isn't true sadly.
