Leaving a sleeping baby home alone?

Disclaimer: I️ haven’t done this and don’t ever plan on it.

I️ was reading some forums online and one stuck out to me. It was a mom asking other moms if they would leave their sleeping baby to run down the road for 5 minutes.

Say your house was 50 yards away from a gas station and you needed tampons or cigarettes but you already put your 4 month old baby in bed, she sleeps through the night every night and it would only take you 7 minutes to run there and back and your house would be in sight the whole time.

Would you do it?
