Our house is old as hell. Honestly? Probably 60-70 years old. Maybe older.

There is a space under the house.

The laundry room is connected to the house but there's no door to it. You have to go to the back porch and there's a door to the left.

In the Landry room, there's an open space to underneath the house.

I think something IS DEAD.

I can't smell anything in my house and I didn't smell anything last night while doing laundry but when I opened that laundry room door, it HIT ME LIKE A PHYSICAL FORCE.

BURNED MY NOSE HAIRS OUT. Felt that shit in my eyeballs.

It's not a poop smell, ITS PUTRID AND VILE. LIKE ROTTING MEAT.

I stopped dead in my tracks and just wow.

My laundry room usually smells really good, I use downy, in-wash scent boosters.

Those smells did nothing. I could smell it faintly like the putrid smell was so much stronger. It was a fucking mix of DEATH and downy fabric softener.

I was like, is there a dead animal in here? I looked around and saw nothing. I turned my flash light on and got on my knees to look under there and couldn't see anything but spider webs and spiders. To me, that space is an opening to the underworld. Spider webs, idk Satan probably chills out down there.

Snakes, something venomous that will bite you causing death and shit.

I am sure as hell not crawling my ass under there. All i know is, i think i lost a few brain cells staying in the stink so long.

I DONT know how I don't smell it inside the house at all or even the room next to the laundry room.

Who do I call? Ghost busters?

Seriously what the hell do i do.

If it is a dead something, it's gonna stink worse, soon. I don't know what else it could be? I don't even know how it would get in there? I always shut the door because if it rains it will flood the floor. You have to step down into it.

Call the police? Why? DO YOU THINK SOMEONE BROKE INTO MY LAUNDRY ROOM AND HID A BODY UNDER MY HOUSE?

That would be dumb.

Why would someone do that? "Crap. I killed someone. I guess ill go hide it under this random house. Good idea"
