Low anterior placenta

Victoria

So at my 21 week scan they noted my placenta is both low lying and anterior, in fact right over my previous c section scars. The Dr mentioned that we need to keep an eye so I'll have another scan at 32 weeks, and that I just need to let them know if I have any bleeding. But, she also mentioned that they have to watch and see since it can embed in the lining of my uterus causing other complications during delivery. Now, my aunt also had this issue and her placenta never moved, and she had to have a hysterectomy during her delivery. Thankfully she and her daughter were totally fine otherwise. But, I'm hoping some other moms her may have had this issue and actually had the placenta move away before delivery. This will be my third c section.

Thanks for your time!
