Is it bad parenting?
Would you consider yourself guilty of bad parenting if you never offered your children healthy food ever? I mean never - not for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Let’s define unhealthy food as foods that are generally known to lead to higher disease risks, obesity, etc.
(Sugary, processed, packaged, and artificial foods, no fruits or vegetables, etc).
Assume you are able-bodied and have enough money to afford healthier food.
But it’s inconvenient for you and you’re busy. Or grocery shopping is a pain . Or it causes you anxiety. Or you just don’t enjoy it. For whatever reason- offering less healthy food every day is better or easier for you as a parent.
Do you think it’s fine, since the kids aren’t starving? Or is this bad parenting?
