hey guys, I'm black and my boyfriend is white. we dont have any kids yet but are talkin about marriage and babies. Sometimes i struggle with the fact that my kids are likely gonna be super light. For awhile i have had this image of beautiful brown babies. I know no matter what my kids will be beautiful and i will love them, but still something that cocerns me sometimes. Also a couple of weeks ago my bf jokingly told me he hopes our kids get his hair and not mine. The topic of black womens hair is one of the most common microagressions and it really kind of hurt my feelings. Just tryin to hear feom others who are in similar situations
