Is it ok to give your dog raw hide bones?

Nooooo!! I’m so surprised by this poll. I thought more people knew that. They’re so horrible and unsafe for dogs.

It's not really healthy, but you cpuld do worse. Just don't let them have it for days on end. They are a breeding ground for bad bacteria after a dog has been gnawing on it.

They are hard for dogs to digest! I suggest trying bully sticks. My dog loves them. Although they smell awful!

Places like king soopers have butchers cut bones! Those are much better and aren't terribly expensive, and a lot of the time if you get the hollow ones and the dogs loose interest you can put peanut butter in them! My dog absolutely loves these! They do smell though

Check out how they are made and what chemicals they are made with. Bad news! I used to give my dogs these years ago and my dog died of a bowel obstruction due to raw hide. My vet said to never give them to your animals.

Nope. They can’t digest it! Get meat bones. I get some that are cow bones filled with peanut butter or cheese filling from Walmart and my dog loves them.

At first yes but once they start chewing them up or possibly swallowing the pieces it's a huge no no

My dog used to chew them when he was a puppy. Then he stopped being interested in them

I voted yes thinking of those big dino bones 😩 But no,  those things aren't good for dogs.
