Anybody anemic during pregnancy?

Just did a CBC test today and my numbers were low, was curious if this has happened to anybody else and what that meant?

I crave burgers (which I never eat)... Does that count?

I'm anemic but I've been since a child.

I am. First bloods taken at around 5 wks showed I was severely anaemic. I'm on iron tablets 3x a day and starting to feel a bit more human at 12 wks.

I have been since I was 13. It's obviously not the funnest thing ever but it's manageable. Have your doctor give you an iron supplement. If it's causing you to be tired all the time and really sluggish in addition to iron pills try also supplementing with vitamin D it has helped me!

Yea. I know my iron levels are low when I crave red dirt, chalk, or clay. Definitely not eating this while pregnant though. I'm on prenatal and iron pills. I take those at night because the iron pills make me so sick in my stomach if I take them during the day.

I am and have been since 16 weeks, I am now 35 weeks and 2 days. I have to take extra iron and my prenatals as well, I feel so tired all the time. I hope your iron comes up soon

I am. Just need to increase your iron intake, because we need our blood for the baby! Also when you are anemic you are so fatigued and sluggish!
