menstrual cup?

ive heard of girls using this, the idea kind of freaks me out, although I'm interested because it's more Eco-friendly. If you have or currently use one I would love to hear how it works and what your thoughts are on it! what are the advantages over tampons? thanks!

I love the Diva Cup! I will never go back to tampons and pads. I think you can wear it up to 12 hours. I've never experience any leaks and will even wear white pants without worrying. It takes a little practice to put in and take out, but once you get the hang of it, it's wonderful!

I've used softcup.  It's good for bedtime and low period days, but makes me nervous about heavy flows and moving around a lot.  You can also still have sex with it.  I'm curious about the others though like mooncup, they look more day-long promising.  I have a super heavy flow though.

I love my diva cup! I've been using it for over a 1 1/2. Will never go back to pads! Highly recommend it and you save money!

I use the softcup too and haven't had any problems aside from a tiny bit of leaking (I just wear a panty liner). It took me awhile to get the hang of it but I love the convenience of not having to worry and switch it out as frequently as tampons. I work at a super busy Starbucks with only one bathroom. Being on my period on insane weekends with a bathroom line is no bueno!!

I use a mooncup, absolutely love it. I put it in the day before AF is due and no worries about leakages. Don't need to carry tampons/pads with me, which is awesome since I always seemed to be running out or forgetting to replace them in my purse. Cramps are a little better too. Way cheaper since they last years and good for the enviornment. Just empty as often as you'd change a tampon.

love it! Haven't had problems with leaking, there is a bit of a learning curve. I would suggest "practicing" with it at home to get the hang of it first.

I use a lunette and will never go back to tampons. I would recommend researching the different brands and their features before purchasing one, not all cups are made the same.
