Ground beef, ground pork, stew meat and jalapeños - obviously all the other essentials. But those 3 really set it apart from other recipes. If you don't like it too spicy you can just not use the seeds from the jalapeños

My go to recipe: start out with diced red bell peppers and olive oil in a pot, add 2 1/2 cups veggie broth, 2 cans black beans, I can kidney beans, 1 can tomato paste, 1-2 tbsp chili powder and add salt and pepper to taste. With some homemade tortilla chips, avocado and vegan sour cream👌
