This is on my boyfriend's arm?

It itches a lot. What is it? Is it a rash? What kind of rash? Or is it fungus? 
It stings after showering from how dry it gets. Gets it in the inside part of the elbow, inside of the knee and the ankle.

psoriasis, egzema and ring worm,  are Ur answers so far. it proves one thing- nobody on here can tell u what he has. he needs to be seen by a doctor and given a proper diagnosis and treatment. self diagnosis often leads to incorrect treatment and that leads to making the situation a lot worse.

This is ring worm and is extremely contagious! You can get meds for it over the counter at any drug store or where they have a pharmacy! Make sure it is aired out and doesn't come in contact with anything at all! If he touched a blanket with it and then you do you'll get it as well!

It very well could be psoriasis. I would tell him to go to the dr. There’s great lotions for it, but before that you need to make sure what it is. You don’t want to make it moist if it needs to be dry!

I honk it’s eczema. I got it in those same places. The body’s “creases” if you will lol. I got it every year during fall when it starts to get cold. Put some aquaphor on it! That always helped me.

I used to get a similar rash every winter being my knees, it was eczema. Cerave moisturizer and weird but Vicks Vapo rub cleared it up for me. I still get it here and there sometimes on my hands but The lotion and Vicks always helps.
