URGENT, what pill do I Take!!??

This sounds stupid, but but this is my first pack and i’m confuzzled. 
My doctor told me to start taking the pills when i start my period, today, but i have ran into an ordeal. Do i take the 1st active pill? (Where it says start) or do i take a reminder pill? The sunday start and day one start instructions are very vague, please help.

Start where it says start. The reminder pills are for the week when you get your period so you are still in the habit of taking them.

Take the first active pill. There should be a pamphlet that came with your pills that you can read that will have further instructions and information.

I take this same exact kind of birth control. You lucked out because you started your period on a Sunday, so you won’t have to worry about changing the days of the week at the top. Take the pill in the top left hand corner (where it says start). Don’t stress about always being on a certain pill during your period because it won’t happen that way. Not everyone’s period is the same about of days and not ever month has the same amount of days. Just make sure that you are taking your pill at the same time every day for maximum protection!
