How to stop being so nervous?

I'm 4+5 with our first baby and I'm so scared that things won't be okay. I'm calling the doctor today to get things started but I'm considering buying an early ultrasound for peace of mind.

I've had 3 miscarriages in the last year that we've been trying for #1 and I worried a lot with the first 2 pregnancies. I started relaxing a little with the third, but this pregnancy is totally different. I was so excited to get my bfp and am just grateful for every day that I'm pregnant. I don't worry about what could happen. So honestly, I think experience is the only thing that changes being so nervous. I know that everything is beyond my control, and everything I've gone through so far, while being difficult at the time, has brought about positive changes in my life and my relationships :) Just take advantage of every day and make it the best day it can be. I'm nervous too. Want to be happy and am but anxious about the next seven and a half weeks.

I was thinking about getting an early ultrasound to, my dr won't see me till I'm 8 weeks, please update if u get more information on that :)

Wait till at least 6 weeks! I know that's hard, but you'll for sure see something at that point

I'm feeling the same way, but I'm just trying to remind myself to relax and enjoy the process as much as possible. I'm always more anxious on my Google-heavy days, so I think staying off of the Internet is key!

I've been nervous too, so far I'm trying not too think about it and hopefully having a scan in a couple of weeks I'm 5w 3d good luck hun x

Thanks ladies. I know being nervous is totally normal. I see the midwife on 15th June when I'll be 10 weeks so it feels like an age away! I did ask OH if we could book an early scan but he thinks we will be okay at the 12 weeks one.
