Acid reflux symptom or seizure?

Question

Has anyone experienced their baby getting kinda stiff when lying on their back and seeming like they want to cry but can't and then they either spit up or drool when you pick them up and they can suddenly are able to start crying loud. I am so worried that this is a seizure but I've also been reading it can be a symptom that baby has acid reflux. 
Any other moms experience this??

If you even suspect a seizure I’d immediately call their pediatrician. 
Try to get it on video if you can.

You should definitely tell her dr.
My husbands daughter had seizures when she was an infant and him & the mom had no idea because it doesn’t always look like a seizure. It was awhile before they figured it out....

I had the same suspicions for 1 of my twins. I have recorded her but the Dr says she has reflux. Follow up with your child's Peds to make sure.

The thing with seizures is you don’t know you’re having a seizure, so it’s not likely that baby will want to cry after. I have epilepsy and I have no idea I’m having a seizure, it’s only when I “come back” that something is different. Seizures don’t hurt. 
Look up the names of different types of seizures, and watch videos on YouTube. Pay attention to the descriptions and comments though bc some parents are just posting the videos and asking, as you are, if it is actually a seizure (so the video title can be misleading). 
And always always always seek the advice of a pediatric neurologist, the best time is within a few hours after it has occurred, at an ER (not urgent care). If it WAS a seizure, the brain activity may still be visible on an EEG or MRI. If you wait and just ask a pediatrician later, they will just refer you to somebody for testing which will not be done close enough to the possible seizure activity to get a good reading. They can do things during an EEG to trigger seizures (strobe lights, sleep deprivation) but it may not work, and I’m sure you want to be confident in your results if you’re subjecting your baby to this.
