How dilated were you at 36 weeks?

I’m a first time mom & am getting checked for dilation at my next appointment. I’ll be 36 weeks. Just wanted to know what the “norm” was just so I know what to expect.

There is no norm at all. If you expect a predictable pattern you'll be disappointed! Checking for cervical dilation is basically a big guessing game that doesn't actually tell you if labor is near, you could find you're 4cm and then stay pregnant for 4 more weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️ its not predictable at all not even a little lol

10cm, I gave birth the day I hit 36weeks..

With my first I was 6 cm at my 36 week appointment. 
With my second I’m not dilated at all. 37 weeks now and I have an appointment tomorrow so hopefully they’ll check again and I’ll have some good news.

For me normally 3 or 4. I've had three kids. One came 10 days early. One induced day before 40 weeks, third came at 37 weeks.

I had both my kids at 36 weeks my son was 4 cm when I was admitted and I was admitted with my daughter at 7 cm
